The Woons!
A year after a magnificent proposal at the Lost Coast, Wes and I traveled up to British Columbia, Canada to celebrate D&H getting married. I took a bunch of photos, here are some of my favorites that kind of summarize the trip.
Dave, myself, and Wes waiting patiently in the airport. The view of Cultus Lake after a lunch with the girls.Nicole and I in our belly dancing garb at the bachelorette party. The view of Mt. Cheam from the Fraizer River lodge, site of the wedding. The Fraizer River Lodge welcoming committee. Self portrait. The bestmen are ready!D&H after seeing each other for the first time.Amanda serenading Heather down the aisle. The men wait.Isn't that red amazing? They're married!D&H strolling toward the reception.A smile while cutting the cake. The whole gang!
It was a beautiful day!
PS Happy 2 Year Anniversary R&R! Memorial Day weekend is a busy one for my friends ;)
Hee hee, I didn't read the caption to your first picture at first, and I thought that some random dude sitting next to you in the airport was smiling at the camera too. Great photos!
My name is Elaine. These days I identify myself most as a mom. Mother of two little girls, and married to a wonderfully generous husband, I spend most of my days trying to meet their needs, remember who I am, and try to follow God.
I am a linguist by training, and I love language, hence the title of this blog. Over the years I have discovered a love for exercise, which I found through triathlon training, though these days I'm lucky to get a jog in once a week. I also love baking, cooking, and eating!
This blog has morphed over the years. It started as a way for me to write about both random thoughts and to keep in touch with friends and family who live far away. Our family now has a separate blog for family pictures and the like. So Nisamina has returned to more of its original purpose, a place for me to write out some of the thoughts in rattling around in my brain that I hope to remember.
wonderful pics!! ;-) thx for sharing.
